FOOD SCIENCE CLASS - Our Most Popular Elective!

MCA students love Mr. Takacs' Food Science Class.  When students fill out request forms for elective classes, his is the most requested by far.  Monday through Wednesday, the class studies the science of food learning about how food is made and processed, the chemical reactions that occur during those processes and how it nourishes our bodies.  Thursdays a team of students and Mr. Takacs plan the menu and purchase what is needed.  Fridays are the BIG day when the class cooks the meal.  After school on Fridays, they sell and serve what they have cooked.  They always make enough to cover the next week's budget.
