COLLEGE FAIRS AND EVENTS:

MCA College Night A Big Success!
Held on Tuesday, November 10th, the evening began with a very informative presentation in the Hall of Nations given by Mrs. Becker, our College Guidance Counselor and Student Graduation Coach. Next came brief talks by all the college reps, and then everyone adjourned to the cafeteria where representatives from 16 colleges and universities had their displays set up. Colleges and universities represented where institutions who could attend on the date MCA could hold the College Night. Many more were invited and plan to attend our spring College Night.Thank you, Mrs. Becker, for a great event!

| REMINDER - FILL OUT THE FAFSA!
Seniors & Parents - you need to apply for your pin on the finanacial aid application website ASAP! The pin allows you and your parents to sign your application on line (Student and parents need separate pin.) Note - even if you thinki your family will not qualify for aid, some schools won't even offer certain money unless a financial aid application is on file.

Remember, some early deadlines for applications, housing and
financial aid have already passed! Take the time to check college
calendars for upcoming deadlines.
Be sure your parents have filled out the FAFSA.
If you haven't already done so, be sure to complete
your college applications and see Ms. Hanson if you need help.
Juniors:
Start registering for SAT and ACT exams offered in spring 2009!
