We encourage you to give of your time and expertise.
To volunteer at Mount Carmel Academy you need to complete the following:

If you have previously registered with the HISD VISITS system (on the HISD website), or have submitted a background check form at another HISD school, you do not need to fill out a new background check form. - Register with the HISD VISITS system by going to the HISD website (www.houstonisd.org) and clicking on the VIPS red apple on the right-hand side. Your background check cannot be processed until you complete this step. - Questions? Please check with Moira Takacs in the front office, or call Mary Sobieski (VIPS Coordinator) at 713-516-4108 (cell) or mmsobieski@gmail.com.
A sampling of areas where MCA needs your help include: book room, monitoring dropoff and pickup, tutoring, lunch room duty, grounds upkeep, prom, front office, library, fund-raising programs, etc.
