MCA 5K FUN RUN

LOCATION:
The race will begin at Mount Carmel Academy (MCA), wind its way through the picturesque Garden Villas neighborhood under the cooling canopy of magnificent pecan trees, and end back in front of Mount Carmel Academy.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
6:30 am Race Day registration & packet pick up
8:00 am Fun Run begins
8:45 am Kids Race & Family Walk begins
9:00 am Fun Run Carnival begins
9:45 am Awards Ceremony
ENTERTAINMENT:
Join us for food and fun after the race, including bounce houses, children’s activities, prizes, food and more!
EVENT COST:
Individuals: $20.00 before race day
$25.00 race day
$10.00 Kids (3 -12) no deadline
HARRA members: $2.00 discount if registered
before race day.
Families: $50.00 (2 adults & kids under 12)
HS Teams : $100.00 (up to 7 team participants)
AWARDS
Special awards for overall and masters male and female finishers. Awards for top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
FAMILY WALK
Not a runner? Want to participate as a family? This walk is designed for those families who are not interested in running but want to enjoy a brisk morning walk!
KIDS WALK
Available for children ages 0 - 12. Guided by adult chaperones while they walk.
T-SHIRTS
The first 300 participants will receive an "MCA 5K Fun Run" T- Shirt designed by the Cross Country team at Mount Carmel Academy. T-Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
PARKING
Available at Mount Carmel Academy and neighboring HISD property.
