A FANTASTIC SUCCESS!
$28,000.00 raised in the
raffle, carnival, silent
auction and garage sale!
Sunday, November 7th, was very busy at MCA as everyone joined together to set-up, work in activities, and then take-down the school carnival. Over 225 volunteers signed in (students and parents) to help make the event such a resounding success. Many students also donated cakes, water bottles, soft drinks, etc. Students and parents could be seen all afternoon working and having a great time. Even Mrs. Giacchino got up on the dunk tank!
The raffle was the mainstay financially, taking in $22,000.00. The booths, food, silent auction and garage sale brought in an additional $6,000.00. The net for the school should be approximately $28,000.00.
Finally, 59 students sold their quota of $260.00 in raffle tickets and were able to go on the November field trip.
